HERÈNCIA ALTÉS L'ESTEL 2019

New

The vineyard itself and the less productive plots allow us to select the best raw material for this wine. A very intense and perfumed nose of black and red fruits, ripe and sweet but fresh, are combined with the fair wood, well fused, which gives it aromas of sweet spice and delicate notes of roasted. Powerful mouth, broad texture, long and deep, mellow and friendly tannin with a long and tasty finish.

ELABORATION

Manual harvest in boxes of 18 kg with careful selection in the field. Cool to about 3-5 ° C for about 20-24 hours. Skidding and treading prior to incubation in different tanks (stainless steel or concrete) for the spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast. FML and aging in a foudre of 5000L of Austrian oak (Garnatxa) for 15 months and the rest is aged for 24 months in 500 and 600L French and Austrian barrels. Unification of the blend and then light clarification and filtration before bottling.

VARIETIES: Garnatxa, Carinyena and Syrah

Herència Altés

At Herència Altés we are yesterday's footprint in our gaze towards tomorrow.

We are land, landscape, culture, history and innovation.

The vineyard, cultivated in an ecological way and the wine in its maximum expression, are protectors of our landscape and guardians of our biodiversity. In the winery, we have an environmental project, which protects the flora and fauna indigenous of our environment.

At home, we follow a philosophy of minimal intervention, we respect the wines to maintain the essence of the fruit and thus achieve a perfect harmony between the hand of man and what the earth gives us.

Our aging room is totally underground, to have the perfect temperature and humidity throughout the year in a sustainable way. We work with large oak foudres, of 5000 and 2500 liters, with the philosophy of making long aging, but with the minimum impact of the wood.

Fresh, serene, polished and friendly wines.
